| Introduction | Fern Kitchen is named after the Koru or Fern and is the iconic symbol of New Zealand flora. Koru is the Māori name given to the new unfurling fern frond and symbolizes new life, growth, strength and peace. The circular shape of the Koru helps to convey the idea of perpeptual movement while the inner coil suggests a return to the point of origin. Here, I am building a collection of recipes with a bit of random history, from some of the travel experiences I have had, together with some of my home grown New Zealand roots.
