| Introduction | I love to experiment with a variety of media, and formats including sewing, quilting, altered books, art journals, watercolour, collage and photography. As such I sketch, draw, and paint. Gardening, for me, is also an artistic pursuit. I try to live with a sense of authenticity, that places self imposed limits on consumerism and mass media - in other words I like to shop at op shops, recycle and re-purpose old things, and prefer to draw or read than watch T.V.! I enjoy reading about and discussing all things book, art, vintage, re-cycled, garden, cooking, living simply and re-purposed related. Researching the Schladetsch Family Tree also gets squeezed in among my other pursuits also! My most important loves are: family, great coffee, great books and great friends! |
