| Introduction | Very briefly…… I grew up in Rugby, England and had a wonderful if eventful childhood. After graduating from school I joined the fire dept and was a fulltime firefighter for approximately 8 years. Sometime in the early 80's as I became aware of the rise of the personal computer, I decided to make the move and took a position as a computer sales engineer & account manager. In 1990 I moved to the US to run the Silicon Valley based offices of the British software company that employed me. i was lucky enough to get to travel pretty extensively throughout the US, and although it's an amazing country with so many incredible places, I decided it was time for a change. So here I am now, living and working in Shanghai, China. There will be lots more to come in respect to that chapter of my life and the challenges stemming from the language and the cultural differences. |
| Interests | Love to work on my PC, everything multimedia related. I enjoy prospecting, but haven't seriously done any for some time. I'm a bit of a movie buff, so see below and fascinated by history, European and more recently Chinese. Theatre, love to act, direct and write, and until recently I owned and operated an interactive murder mystery theatre company "www.deathbymurder.com". Photography is also a great love of mine. |
