| Introduction | I am a Christian. That word in today's society has lost much of its meaning so I'll explain. I am a sinner--to be specific, a lying, adulterous idolator. I have anger issues, rarely honored my parents growing up, have often chased after a buzz, and have turned my back on things and people who are/were important to me. There is nothing within me worthy of heaven or any sort of relationship with the almighty. Yet, despite who I am, Jesus Christ died on the cross so that a wretch like me can join in His resurrection and slowly, painstakingly, 3-steps-forward-and-2-steps-back-ly, be transformed from who I am to who Christ wants me to be, dying to myself and living for His kingdom and seeking to bring his grace to the world I live in. |
