Introduction	If you ask anyone that knows me to attach a single label to me, it would "bikeaholic". But I thought "cyclotic" was probably more accurate. Lately, I've become a bit of a bike racing nut - I used to race bikes back in college and now I've re-discovered that passion - I had forgotten just how much fun racing can be - but only if you're in good enough shape! Otherwise, it's not all that much fun! I have a wife (Becky) and 3 teenage boys (Jake, Mitchell, and Grant), as well as a dog (Melba) and a cat (Tobi). We live a comfortable life in Scotts Valley and try to stay active and involved with each other, as much as we can. I got back into bike riding about 5 years ago, after a long absence - initially to just lose weight - but then, as the weight came off, the passion came back, and, well - here we are, doing a blog about cycling - and I thought blogs were a dumb idea when I first saw them appear on the scene...and I'm a software engineer...just goes to show what I know... :)
