| Introduction | A few stories about moments in my life where I've experienced immense pain; pain that has built me into the person that I am today. Through my hard work, I've overcome numerous challenges and writing these stories for others to read has been a huge contributing factor to my healing. I’ve also been going to many types of therapy for the treatment of complex PTSD, which is what this blog is named after. Accepting that diagnosis was the first step to my healing. Complex PTSD is trauma that is experienced over a long period of time, and not one single event. The words may not be perfect, but they are real. -E |
