| Introduction | I am a watercolor and oil painter. I decided to start this blog as a place where someone could find out more about me and my work, in a more relaxed way. I have a website www.suzysmithart.com where all my finished work is posted, but here I can show and talk about work in progress, and what is going on with my gallery; Abend Gallery, in Denver, CO, and my life. This blog has become a kind of diary for me..... I was born in Denver, CO, grew up in Casper, WY, and after living in UT and CA, now reside in Albuquerque, NM. I have a husband Shane, and two children; Shane,and Leah (Davis),and two grandsons; Jackson and Quentin. I paint still life and figures, and currently I am concentrating on the female nude, but seem to always return to painting floral paintings. |
