| Introduction | Hi, I am Junel Barnes. This blog is to encourage persons and caretakers of persons with mental health issues. I was diagnosed with a mental illness at age 15. And it was my little secret until I was 34 years old and a series of events took place that brought it to the forefront of my life. I never really contemplated what it would be like if everyone knew. But now everyone does. I hope the experiences I share and my ideas can help persons with mental health issues as well as their caretakers to understand that many of the experiences pertaining to persons with mental health issues are common and can be overcome with time, and patience. Always remember your not alone, God can walk with all of us as long as we ask. |
