| Introduction | Andrew Ryan Simone was born in St. Louis but grew up in Jersey. He often finds himself sitting in cafés staring blankly at walls with a book in his hands. Sometimes he fancies himself a writer but is, in reality, an artist without a medium (understand that as you like). He often finds himself sitting in cafés staring blankly at walls with a book in his hands. Sometimes he fancies himself a writer but is, in reality, an artist without a medium (understand that as you like). He does whatever is interesting to pay rent and hopes one day to get off his ass and finish the trilogy of essays and that one short story he is always talking about. In the past he has worked at a winery, attended (but did not finish) seminary, and spent a good deal of time studying Western thought. His current interests include: digital culture, sound, and the future of print media which he does not think means death. Andrew also mostly contributes to clusterflock, a group blog dedicated to pretty much everything. |
