| Introduction | Life is crazy good once the crazy part is settled. I grew up on an Island in the Pacific Northwest. After high school and college I broadened my horizons in the US and overseas. Years later I live in a beautiful area and meet the most amazing people. I have been blessed with a great husband and son, family and friends who have supported me and made me laugh through great times and times that make you go, hmmm. I found out I was pregnant after an incident on the Arkansas River in spring 2006. I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma six months later. My son was born early, but safely at a wee size of 3 pounds. I started bio-chemo therapy (a 24/7 cocktail of drugs) four days later. I continue to learn about and incorporate conventional and alternative medicines to kick this. No one would ever know I was anything but healthy. Love to mountain bike, hike, entertain with friends, travel, create art. I dream big and try to find my calm and happy place, my eyes are metaphorically bigger about life. |
