| Introduction | We are a family operated home-based log building company which we started in 1982. We build log shells, number them, load them on a truck and off they go - usually to the U.S.A. We send a schematic along with the trucker, showing how to reassemble the building. An example would be a 32' X 32' (with a loft) would usually tqake 8 hours to reassemble on-site, provided there were 5 helpers at that end. We build using lodge pine - all beetle killed. This gives some unusual colours, which enhances our work. We have mostly been selling to the DIY kind of families who wish to finish the buildings themselves. We have had to hire contractors to finish some shells or do the concrete work. We are presently training new personnel, thus allowing us to grow slowly and expand our business. |
