Occupation University Professor

Introduction For 27 years, I was a university professor of public information policy. I loved this work - it really was difficult to call it "work." I retired May, 2010 and am enjoying just contemplating right now. I have two grown daughters and four beautiful grandchildren. I hail from Chicago and now am home in Columbia, MD. And, I have a wonderful, fun-loving husband who keeps me in the style to which I am accustomed.
Interests I am an avid reader and proud carrier of a public library card. My home is decorated in books! I have a lifelong love of gardening; the rich loam of the earth is in my blood. I am an autodidact on perennial flowers, herbs, and wildflowers. I create garden-scapes which are homes for hummingbirds, bees, butterflies, and toads. And I bleed ORANGE! I am a Syracuse University basketball junkie and I love it!
