| Introduction | If dismantling an "adding machine" in the late 60s was a foretaste of what was to come, I started early. Since then I've analyzed not just what things do, but how they work. Starting out as the "wireboy" of a boutique recording studio, I progressed to their most-asked-for recording engineer, and fell in love with computers when I learnt what "digital sound" was all about. My mantra was, is and always will be: how can this work simply for the betterment of the user. The key word being "simply". |
