| Introduction | My name is Bill Metzger and I was born and raised right here in the Pioneer Valley down the road in Springfield. Prior to becoming the Principal of Monson High School, I was the Vice Principal of Southwick-Tolland Regional High School and began my career in education as a Social Studies teacher at Minnechaug Regional High School. I have a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master’s Degree in School Administration from American International College. My wife Natalie is also an educator with the Quabbin Regional School District and we have three small children. When you see me in the building or watching one of Monson’s athletic events, please come up and say hello! It is in my belief that students are most successful when there is a strong partnership between school and home. You can expect clear, open, and honest communication from me. My door is always open to the community and I encourage you to reach out anytime you feel the need to ask a question, offer an observation, or express a concern.
