| Introduction | I was born on 5/5/75. Easy to remember, huh? Berlin used to smell like sawdust. Not the German Berlin. New Hampshire-where I'm from. What's the difference? Well, one's in Germany, and they used to talk about it all the time on Hogan's Heroes. That and the Russian Front. The German Berlin is pronounced with the accent on the 2nd syllable-'BerLIN'. The New Hampshire Berlin is 'BERlin'-As in "Berrrrrrrrrr-lin sure gets cold in the winter!" About 10,000 people live here. You could look it up. And it's The City That Trees Built. Because of the paper mills. But I don't really want to talk about my hometown any more for now. |
