| Introduction | I am a mom living in North Georgia who after my mother's passing realized how little I knew about her childhood, even where she was born. Why was she the way she was. What did I learn from her. How little I knew even though we were a close family. I don't want that to happen for me and my children. I want them to understand from whence they came. What was my childhood like. How did I grow to have the values that I live by and that I have tried to pass on to them. I want them to know how important family heritage is in making you who you are. How my parents values affected me and how I affect my children and eventually their children. What did I receive from my father. but I can't say what their father was like and what he added to their makeup because I am not a man. So here goes trying to figure out how growing up affects generations to come. |
