Introduction I have been raised in a Bible-believing homeschooling family, where my parents taught me to think critically, taught me the fear of God, and taught me character. The first of my passions is my Beloved Redeemer, Jesus Christ. My great sea of sin deserves the wrath of God, and but for Christ bearing my sin and suffering the wrath of God on the cross, I would have received it. I believe in the sufficiency of scripture, family discipleship, biblical daughterhood, and a standard in aesthetics. A second of my many passions is music. I play guitar, piano, and oboe, and am beginning to study to compose better. I also love to read and write. I am currently working on an allegorical trilogy, as well as various short stories and essays. I love learning – and am so grateful to my parents for supporting that love as they homeschool me and my three siblings. May He shower His blessings on you! Kyleigh
Interests I love baking and cooking, and wish I also enjoy washing dishes, dusting, and vacuuming. watching and/or making movies. I love getting up early and watching the sun come in through the window as I spend time with God. Almost as much as that, I love deep, sweet fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I like to sew and crochet, I love hot glue guns, classical music, theological books, quilting, Celtic ballads, slip jigs, cloaks, running free in my gramma’s pasture, ships, red sand dunes, gardens, cucumbers, the desert, running away with my imagination, old books, ankle-length skirts, my “brothers” and brother, historical fiction, writing, making movies, making a fool of myself for 3-year olds, making rolls, singing Psalms, dancing, crocheting, and making maps, Bluegrass, duct tape, cookies, masks, song parodies, Beethoven’s 7th Symphony, and grapefruits. When it rains here I run around outside in the rain in my cloak, attracting all sorts of weird stares from neighbors.
Favorite Movies Movies we’ve enjoyed as a family have been The Widow’s Might, Homeschool Dropouts, The Mysterious Islands, Pendragon: Sword of His Father, Amazing Grace, Fiddler on the Roof, the Mission, and the Horatio Hornblower series.
Favorite Music When I listen to music I listen to soundtracks (Master and Commander, The Mission, Sense and Sensibility), musicals (Godspell, Les Miserables), Celtic, Michael Card, John-Michael Talbot, Keith Green, and classical (Bach, Vivaldi, Chopin, and Rimsky-Korsakov are my favorites!).
Favorite Books I love G.A. Henty, Douglas Bond, R.M. Ballantyne, Les Miserables, A Tale of Two Cities, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and theological books.
