| Introduction | Drag queens are often misunderstood. Most people -- even gay people -- don't understand that drag is a theatrical art form in the gay community. Textbooks may tell people that it has something to do with sex, but it's just pure theatre....Come on, read on...I'll tell you all about it, and maybe you'll learn something along the way from an aftershave and eyeliner point of view....Drag queens are also PEOPLE who have many different facets to their lives. Sometimes, they live a Half Mile from the Walmarts in a decent sized city in Arkansas......where DRAG has a LOOOOOONG and brilliant history...and sometimes, Drag Queens retire, but Vannah never dies.... |
