The argument w/in the autistic community about which diagnostic 'label' to identify with as a person, or by current but changeable self-care functional abilities, led to the term 'shiny aspies.' My personal weaknesses lead me to identify as a 'rusted aspie' who is still polishing off the rust in my 'autistic life journey.' |
