Introduction	I've stumbled blindly through life, but I've had the good fortune to end up in a fairly good place anyhow. Gardening is my hobby, and it's the reason I've put together this blog. It's nowhere near as cool as rock n' roll guitar, as far as hobbies go. Nor is it as macho as rebuilding classic muscle cars. Once you get past all that, though, there is definitely something pretty great about digging around in the dirt and helping plants to grow. Anyhow, it's in my nature, so I'll go with it. That's what my blog is about, but since you're reading the "About me" section of my profile, it's fair enough to throw in a disclaimer. Following my interest in nature is important to me, and takes up an inordinate amount of my time, but when it comes down to it, it's not that important. What's important to me are the people in my life. I have an incredible wife and two amazing daughters. Between my family, and an awesome community of friends and neighbors, I should probably spend a little less time with my face buried in books and my hands in the dirt.
