IntroductionArmy wife for several eons. Three kids, two dogs, no more guinea pigs (one is coyote poo, the other lives somewhere else now.). Moved from desert to almost Arctic because we are crazed.
Interestssaving the planet from the Locust (also known as Gears of War 2.), bogarting the XBox360 in order to annoy my kidlets, crafting stuff, taking thousands of photographs, chocolate, reading stuff.
Favorite moviesThere is no way I will answer this question truthfully, because then I would have to list BabyCakes, which is this truly awful movie starring Ricky Lake.
Favorite musicElvis Costello, Sara Bareilles, the stuff that sounds like classical music but is really from Final Fantasy and other video games my kids keep dumping onto my IPod, John Hiatt, The Who, The Beatles -- my son has discovered them in the last few years and put many many Beatles songs on my new IPod, Elvis Costello.
Favorite booksPride and Prejudice, The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins -- the first mystery novel, Dick Francis because he is so very prolific, Anne McCaffrey and Marion Zimmer Bradley, various books I label "pink" because they are female literature.

What would you wear for camouflage if you were hiding in a gingerbread house?

Easy. Those disgusting candy-coated marshmallow things they have at Easter, the candy your grandmother has in the bowl on her coffee table, the linty mints from the bottom of various purses and pockets, and really really cheap Easter chocolate. Because only old people and the very young are willing to eat that stuff, and I can take them in a fight.
