| Introduction | Painting and drawing has been a passion of mine since childhood. Capturing the essence and mood of a scene is what I strive for. As both a professional counselor and as a serious painter, reflecting emotion is the root from which all of my work originates. Both endeavors require me to translate emotion and energy, either through a connection with patients or onto a canvas with color and paint. Starting this art blog is a way for me to dip my toes into the world of painting professionally by gaining a bit more exposure.
