Introduction Since 1971, the AS Women's Center has maintained a close and personal relationship with Chico State and the community. We are dedicated to enriching student's educational experience by a providing extracurricular activities such as academic internships, community programming, outreach and awareness that promote social justice.

We are committed to improving the quality of life for all people in the Chico State community through active participation in local and global issues dealing with gender inequality, social injustices, and oppression.

We recognize that women's experiences on college campuses are still often challenging, so we combat these challenges through education from a feminist perspective. With the help and the dedication of students from all ethnicities, ages, genders, sexualities, religions and experiences, we strive to establish equal rights for all, making our campus, our community, and our world a better place to be.
Interests The Associated Students Women's Center is a student-run activist organization that evolved from the feminist ideology that all gender should be equal. We provide a safe, accepting environment and strive to empower all students through awareness events, services and referrals.
