| Favorite books | What I'd grab first if the flood came: Lynd Ward's God's Man, Madman's Drum, Vertigo, and Wild Pilgrimage- original first editions c. 1930 - the first all-graphic novels, each told in amazing, aesthetically muscular woodcuts, no text at all. The first editions' print quality is by far the best , and conveys the full power of Ward's art. |
