| Introduction | I'm a retired educator living on the Orergon coast. I've often been referred to as a "Renaisance Man" in an academic sense, which most people understand to mean generalist. My primary focus is history, followed by the history of imperialism, with a focus on the history of the US Empire in particular. But in order to understand such a wide scope, being well versed in other academic realms is indispensible--anthropology, biology, economics, geography, geology, political science, sociology, physics, philosophy. To understand holisticly, one must have a holistic knowledge base. A wonderful man who sadly is no longer alive produced what he called the Hexadigm. This concept well describes my epistomology. |
| Interests | I enjoy exploring anything that increases my knowledge base and extends my wisdom. |
| Favorite movies | The Star Wars Saga |
| Favorite music | I enjoy most genres provided the music meets my criteria of "good." |
| Favorite books | Far too many to list, but currently I would have to say "What is Life" by Lynn Margulis and Dorian Sagan. |
