| Introduction | Short fiction writer and creative writing teacher. My debut collection of short stories Hot Kitchen Snow won the Scott Prize in March and comes out in October 2010 from Salt Publishing in UK, USA and Oz. Stories have recently appeared in The Yellow Room and The New Writer. Previous work has been anthologised, won and placed in various competitions, including The Independent, BBC Radio Opening Lines, The New Writer, Commonwealth, Pen, Crime Writers' Association Debut Dagger, Fish, Conan Doyle Award. Hawthorden Writing Fellow in 2000 and Writer in Residence at Middlesex University 2000-2002 Married with twin boys. |
