| Introduction | Mary has enjoyed writing since a young age and her work has been published in VegFamily, the International Doula, and as a guest writer on various mothering sites. She loves to tell stories about family, cooking, birth, and life but her favorite pastime is sitting down and listening to the elderly as she believes they always have the best tales! Mary was raised in beautiful Northwest Arkansas where she lived for 28 years, this is where she married and home-birthed her three children. Then she and her family spent an amazing year exploring Belfast, Northern Ireland before relocating to Northern Minnesota in 2010 where they are learning how to adjust to a much colder environment!
