Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
No. It doesn't seem like that is the proper evolution of cutlery. When fire was discovered, food too hot to hold and eat, would have been skewered with a sharpened branch or animal bone, thus acting more like a "fork" than a spoon. Liquid foods were drank from bowl-like gourds. Sometime after that early man might have conceptualized a spoon.
