| Introduction | I was minding my own business (literally) when God called me into the minstry as a PC(USA) pastor back in the late 1990's. After graduation from Princeton Theological Seminary, I served a church in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and now pastor an urban church in Kansas City. We are a joyfully undisciplined bunch who know the move of the Spirit when we experience it! I'm also a wife, a mother and grandmother, blessed with energy and a passion for the emergent and divergent generation. I love jazz and old hymns - preferably played at the same time, which we do so well at my church. One vacation, my husband and I were surprised by an "accidental upgrade" on a rental car; I thank God everyday for the accidental upgrade I receive when I am surprised by God's grace every day, grace I never expect or deserve.
