| Introduction | I am a full time college student which consumes a lot of my time but I know that in the end it will be worth it. I received my Bachelors in History in August 2010 at the University of Central Florida. I had the best teachers and learned much more than I thought I would. I have decided to return to UCF to obtain a Masters in Education, more specifically in Instructional Technology/ Education track. I took several online courses at UCF and loved them; I feel I would be a great online teacher. I would love to teach at FLVS and then maybe move on to teach college courses as well. I don’t really have a life outside of school but when I am not reading something I like spending time with my family. I love going to the movies, I watch a lot of TV it is my weakness. I mostly watch the Discovery channel, History channel, and some of the less educational shows, like Survivor, Lost, Biggest Loser, Big Brother, and the Amazing Race. When I am not relaxing watching TV, I like to travel and be with my soon to be husband. |
| Interests | My interests are running and being as active as I can,it helps relieve stress. :-) I love making trips to the art museum and science museum every few months. I like doing any activity that lets me be with my family. I will mostly be blogging about my assignments for my class I am taking at UCF called Fundamentals of Technology for Educators. This class is a “beginner class” into my program; it is designed to help teachers integrate technology into the classroom. The purpose of creating a blog was to reflect on our assignments and have the opportunity to comment on how other students in the class felt about the assignments as well. All of this taking place online for everyone to see. |
