About me

GenderFemale
OccupationLawyer and writer
LocationChicago, Illinois
IntroductionI am 73 going on 47, a chubbified but currently thinning body covering a historically thin and fit physique dying to re-emerge; I am a lawyer by trade, a writer in my heart, as yet unpublished. Except for one small volume of self published short stories, and except for periodic articles about France published in www.bonjourparis.com. In another life, I am sure I lived in Paris and hung with Hemingway, De Beauvoir, Stein and Picasso. I spent the month of July 2014 in Paris turning 70 among friends including new friends and one very old friend - the City of Paris. I adore my two sons and daughter, and their spouses, and my grandchildren, and my soft and neurotic kitty. I want to be fit, healthy, toned, and live in a home with a stone fireplace, bookshelves and comfy furniture, and a view of ocean and foliage, with a writing table and fountain pens and a small computer and a portable typewriter and plenty of time for long walks and runs and writing and reading and the time and money to spend time in Paris and in Antibes and San Francisco and Seattle and perhaps Milan and Cologne and other places around the world.
