Introduction	I'm a writer, educator, advocate and life-long learner, wife to Michael and mommy to Josephine (3) and Oliver (8 months).
Interests	All things learning-related! I was a classroom teacher and campus instructional specialist for 13 years, however, transitioned to a communications role in a small non-profit several years ago. After leaving teaching (but before kids), I enjoyed doing crafts, reading and tinkering with technology, as well as outdoor activities of all types. Since kids, my free-time is (ha!) typically spent on zoo trips, park excursions and convincing my three-year-old that the stray kitties at our house don't need to be fed every 15 minutes.
Favorite movies	Whelp...right now, I've got Moana, Finding Dory and Boss Baby on a pretty continuous cycle. I know the Daniel Tiger and Paw Patrol theme songs by heart (and regularly break off a line or two to make my babies smile.) As far as T.V. goes, I play catch up on"This is Us" during weekend naps. And I'm looking forward to binge-watching the new season of Stranger Things!
Favorite music	Wide-ranging and eclectic, to say the least. Ed Sheeran, Post-Modern Jukebox and Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Volume Two are in rotation on Alexa each evening.
Favorite books	Audiobooks and podcasts are a daily staple! I'm in love with "The Moth" and "Freakanomics", and have been exploring "Stranglers" recently. My current audiobook selection is "Thanks, Obama. My Hopey, Changey White House Years". Good stuff.
