| Introduction | Completed a L.T.C.L. in music and drama in 1973 and obtained a B.A. Philosophy and English in 1978. Trained as formal singer under various renowned vocal advisers in South Africa and the United Kingdom and performed in numerous concerts, recitals, and oratorios. Worked as Radio announcer and Television producer of music videos and music concerts. As trained actress and singer, took part in various television dramas, musicals and oratorio. Investigated the effect of different genres of music on patients under adequate anaesthesia for four years in the operating room of a private hospital in SA. Statistics were done at the Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg and wrote an international report on the outcome. Researched the phenomenon of deep breathing for a few years, and wrote a book and numerous articles on the benefits of various deep breathing techniques. Currently presenting seminars in stress management which include the abovementioned techniques. |
