We live for that moment when we meet a beast in the woods, a fish rises to our fly, We hear an elk bugle, Our families say "I love you", or when a friend calls to just say "Howdy". Life is really pretty simple. On a good day you wake up and you eat, work, and sleep. On a great day you wake up, eat, hunt or fish, eat again, and then sleep. Welcome to Backwoods Views. Favorite movies	A River Runs Through it, Where the Red Fern Grows, Christmas Vacation, The Hi-Lo Country, Off the Map, Smokey and the Bandit, Forest Gump, and too many too list.
Favorite music	Traditional Country, Alternative Country, Acoustic, Americana and Folk. Artists like Jim Croce and John Prine are at the top of my list. Hank Williams Sr. and Jr., David Allen Coe, Merle Haggard, Waylon etc.
Favorite books	One Man's Wilderness, Alone in the Wilderness, Hunting with Bow and Arrow, Where the Red Fern Grows, My side of the Mountain, The Bible, Do hunting magazines count?
