| Introduction | I joined the Winnipeg Police Service in 1995. Over the span of my career, I have worked in Uniformed Operations as a Constable, Patrol Sergeant and Sergeant. I have also worked in the Community Support Unit as a foot patrol officer and as a supervisor engaging our community and business partners in finding solutions to crime in our downtown. Currently, I am a supervisor in Reporting & Records Division working in an administrative role. I attended my first IAWP conference in San Francisco in 2003 and have been active in the organization ever since. I further expanded my professional development when Winnipeg was the host city for IAWP 2014 conference and I was a member of the planning team. I look forward to working with all members within Region 12 to further raise the profile of women in policing in Canada and throughout the world. |
