| Introduction | Creating art from textiles is the catalyst that stimulates me to complete projects. Ten years ago I experienced my first quilting in a Community Education class, and today I teach that class. I am euphoric when projects, lessons, patterns and workshops go effortlessly. Cherishing all needle arts, I am always trying to develop new techniques and improve traditional concepts to educate others. Currently my work is using photo transfers in piecing and then enhancing the top with quilting. I would like viewers of my art to stop, imagine and enjoy their experience." Mary Tabar . |
