| Introduction | I live in Albuquerque's North Valley with my husband as of April 2011, Kent Kedl, one old cat, several hens and some bees. I retired as school librarian at Bandelier Elementary School in June 2009. In April-May and September-October 2010, I walked the Chemin de Saint Jacques/Camino de Santiago de Compostela from Le Puy en Velay in France to Santiago in Spain and beyond to Finisterre. In the past six years Kent and I have traveled to Peru, Turkey, Pakistan, India, Southeast Asia, Argentina and Chile, gone sailing in Florida, Lake Superior and the UK, and walked together on several pilgrim routes to Santiago. |

Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
Using a paring knife, start at the top cutting a strip about half an inch wide and continue cutting in a spiral around the apple to the bottom. If you are careful, at should all come off in one long spiraled piece.
