| Introduction | I have a passion for travel which began back when I was just 18 and took a 6 week trip island hopping in Greece. There have been numerous trips since then, including a two year stint working on yachts in the Caribbean and four years working at a safari lodge in Kenya. Other adventures include trekking in Morocco, Nepal and Iceland, climbing the highest peaks in Africa and SE Asia, backpacking around parts of India, USA, Australia and New Zealand, and an overland trip through Chile and Argentina. My long held dream was to travel overland through Africa which I did in 2011 with a trip from Cairo to Cape Town (and that's when the blog began). The most recent plan is an overland trip through West Africa and I'm sure there will be more adventures to follow. One thing is for sure - there is still plenty of the world left for me to explore! |
