| Introduction | My name is Samantha Cadeau and I am a PR student at Niagara College. I am an absolute media addict and I would say that I spend 99% of my online time using any form of social media whether its Facebook, Twitter, or searching videos on YouTube. I can still remember the first day I got Twitter, it was like being thrown into a world where you don’t speak the language. I had no idea what I was doing, but I took on the challenge and tackled Twitter one day at a time. A year later I have found myself to be an active social media user and as my friends say I tweet like it’s “my job”. My passion for social media has led me to write a blog about trends on Twitter. Not everything can be summarized in 140 characters – so enjoy my blog for an indepth look at trends on Twitter.
