| Introduction | I'm a 40-something year old man, living in the New Jersey suburbs outside NYC who. At age 38, I took matters into his own hands, went on weight-watchers, lost 42 lbs and the then went Vegan. I "woke up" to the truth about our food that comes from animals and made a commitment to no longer participate in the exploitation of other sentient beings, be they human or not. It has been an amazing journey since that time in June 2009, and it continues to unfold with greater and greater lessons about life, non-violence and the raw joy that comes from living in harmony with one's morals. |
