| Introduction | We met at our church, Fellowship Baptist Church in Des Moines. Leah was going to school for opera, Dave thought she was cute, but a bit of a dreamer...he was happily corrected the first time he heard her sing. After 1 1/2 years of friendship, he asked her out on a date - to the New Years Eve Pops concert at the Des Moines Civics Center. They had a good time, and kept it up.
