| Introduction | Welcome to Luanne's Kitchen for some "Lunchroom Dabbles!" I'm Luanne Heil and I'm excited to share some of my favorite recipes with you. After High School, I took a one-year Vocational Degree at WCTC in Food Service Production. After graduating, I landed a job at a restaurant in Milwaukee called John Byrons. Chef Sandford D'Amato took me under his wing for the next 5 years. It was an honor to say the least. This is my 22nd year here at Lake Country School. The most rewarding thing about being at LCS is working a job that I truly enjoy. I love the staff here as well as the wonderful children. The biggest challenge for me professionally is keeping my menu "kid-friendly" while still being healthy and appealing. |
| Interests | Some of my hobbies include Scrapbooking and paper crafting. I also enjoy putting together Tablescapes with a Themed Menu. I love to do Themed thick cut-out Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing and package it beautifully...it's all about the details! |
