Introduction	I am a mother of two boys ages 1 1/2 and 4 1/2, and I am also an elementary librarian. I used to be a reader of adult books, and now I find myself a reader of picture and early chapter books. I am a teacher, and I see a clear connection between school success and family literacy. I want to give my children the best possible educational opportunities. This process begins in my home with shared reading experiences. I hope to make this possible for other families by sharing book ideas to help them do the same for their children.
