| Introduction | [English follows] このブログを書いたアンドリュー・スコット・カニングと申します。２００８年８月まで岡山に四ケ月住んでいました。その間に毎日岡山カルチャーゾーンを歩きました。現在岡山に住んでいませんが、このブログの中で岡山を「私たちの市」というふうに呼ばせて頂いています。なぜならば、自分の故郷と同じ程大事に思います。岡山に住んでいる家族の関係で、私はこれからも岡山と一生繋がっていきます。 建築、造園、都市計画などこのブログの提案に関する経験や専門知識は私にはまったくありません。ただ私が持っているのは、岡山になにかを貢献する気持ちです。このブログの内容は貴方をご自身の力と考えを岡山のために提供する機動力となれば、私の努力は十分に報酬されます。 My name is Andrew Scott Conning and I wrote this blog. I lived in Okayama City for four months in 2008, and walked through the Okayama Culture Zone every day. Although I no longer live in Okayama, I refer to it in this blog as “our city,” because I care about Okayama as much as if it were my own hometown. I will always be connected to Okayama through the members of my family who live here. I have no background in architecture, landscaping, urban planning, or any other profession related to the ideas in this blog. What I do have is a sincere desire to contribute to the city I lived in for four months and came to love. If the ideas in this blog encourage you to share your own ideas and energies for the betterment of our city Okayama, my efforts will have been amply rewarded. |
