| Introduction | Hi! I'm Jennifer Guyer! (J. L. Guyer/fantasyordinary) I'm just an ordinary person who writes stories for ordinary people mostly in fantastical settings. I haven't always been a writer but I have been attracted to great story telling since I was a kid. I even got an English degree at Northern Arizona University but it wasn't till after I married and had three kids and those three kids were all in school that I thought about writing a novel. I sat down to write an idea I had and loved every minute of it. That little idea has turned into a trilogy (two of the books have completed drafts)! If it weren't for my wonderful husband and his encouragement to me to take the time to write and research, I'm sure this project would have fell to the wayside and the other ordinary things of life would have taken over. When I'm not writing or blogging, or taking care of my boys, I play the flute in the Flagstaff Community Band. |
