Introduction	I was raised in Denver, Colorado and come from a pioneer family who required that we climb peaks, swim around lakes and ride bicycles over mountain passes. This thorough physical training fused with my development as an artist. After fifteen years in San Diego, I now reside in the Salinas/ Monterey region. I have been a university art lecturer as well as created many workshops for children. I have received several "public art" commissions and been exhibited in museums. I also design poetic contraptions with no commercial intention.
Interests	Nearly everything has an interesting side. Besides children and spouse I'm around dog and chickens and many bees.
Favorite Movies	Tarkovski's, The Mirror, Being John Malkevich, Maya Deren, Some Agnes Varda, Spirited Away, that weird Fellini film, etc
Favorite Music	Changing very often. Still Love Jack White. All my African stuff. Beirut. Tom Waits is my permanent friend
Favorite Books	Books in every room of the house on all our pet subjects in flux. It varies from leaf taxonomy to poetry to bike maintenance.
