Introduction A company secretary by qualification but a writer by inclination with two published books: Without a City Wall and Forest Gold - The Story of South Indian Tea to my credit. I was also runner-up in eAuthor 5.0 an All India short story writing competition conducted by the Oxford Bookstore with Harper Collins and Readers' Digest as co-sponsors. I have also ghost written 5 novels for others. I love traveling and have to date visited 27 countries in Europe, North America and Asia as a tourist. I used to race motorcycles competitively and successfully but now am an armchair rider and driver content to watch races and write newspaper articles about motor sports. I am married. My wife is a teacher, my son a game designer who has just released HELION, a game for the iPhone and my daughter an avowed environmentalist, is about to complete a masters degree in environment from the University of East Anglia, UK

Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?

Neither - I don't like whittling - it reduces things. Even if I did, I don't have the time. I don't need wood to whistle
