|Introduction||Currently living in San Francisco, I have called New Orleans, Los Angeles, and rural Arizona my homes--my heart belongs to all of those regions, and I hope to share my love for these regions with you. I started this food blog in 2005, after being inspired by one amazing (but no longer existing) food blog written by an American teaching English abroad in China. It was the first food blog I had ever seen. It just took a few hours of looking at her blog to spark a fire inside me, to document my own passion-my passion for food. And yes, that open mouth on the header is mine. My parents (both grocers, and later, restaurateurs) have instilled in me a great interest and enjoyment in learning about food. However, I, myself, opted for a non-culinary-centric career, working behind the thin walls of a cubicle. Also, I am really just learning how to cook. Thus, this blog is my food outlet. Join me to embark upon a journey to experience the "Joy of Eating!" I hope to share my ideas about entertaining, pass on my family's time-honored recipes to you, experience local restaurants, and "cook up" some fun for your growling stomachs!|
