Introduction	The mission of the PTCC and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Taxpayer Associations (PCTA) is to advocate for true property tax reform in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in order to provide equitable funding for the public school system and to ensure that Pennsylvania's citizens actually become the owners of their homes and businesses. Goals: True property tax reform entails the removal of all school boards' taxing authority in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and for the public school system to be funded directly by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, using a broad-based, statewide tax, specifically, the School Property Tax Elimination Act of 2007, also known as the Plan for Pennsylvania's Future.
