| Introduction | When asked where I am from my usual response is as of when? I was born in Tehran, Iran grew up in Rome, Italy and then Vancouver, Canada. I now call Los Angeles, USA home where I live with my husband and our 2 little girls. I have a freelance day job so when I'm not out doing that I'm at home taking care of our girls and dreaming up what to make for dinner. We cook and eat. A lot. This food journal was born out of the many lively conversations we've had around our kitchen table. Traditional Persian meals these are not. But more a tapestry of the tastes and smells of my childhood mixed in with new aromas. |
